Rules for Active Members

 

Dues:

Regular Membership Dues - $10.00 payable by January 1st.

 ($1.00 fine per meeting until dues are paid.)

 

 

Attendance:

If a member is unable to attend a meeting, she must call the

hostess or co-hostess to have her absence excused.  Failure to

do so will result in a $1.00 fine per meeting.

 

Any member missing three meetings in succession, without a legitimate excuse, shall be warned, and if absent from the next meeting shall be dropped from the club.  For a member to remain in good standing, it is necessary that she attend at least 50% of all regular meetings in one calendar year.

 

Hostess and Co-Hostess Responsibilities:

The hostess is responsible for the location and drinks.  The co-hostess is responsible for the food and paper products or place settings.  The hostess and co-hostess work together to set up for the meeting, greet guests and clean up after the meeting.  If you are unable to fulfill your duties as hostess or co-hostess, it is your responsibility to find a person to trade meetings with you.

 

Rules for Inactive Members:

 

Inactive Membership Dues - $12.00

Attendance:

A member can remain inactive one year.  She may attend                any or all meetings during the year and has no duties.

 

Rules for Associate Members*

 Dues:

Associate Membership Dues - $5.00 a year or $2.50 a half year.  These dues are payable in September and January respectively.  Associate members are responsible for getting their dues to the club treasurer.

 

Attendance:

An associate member may attend any and all meetings and has no duties unless she so chooses.  She will be issued a program book each year but will not be contacted by the communications committee.

An associate member may become active again if willing to stay active for at least three years.

 

*to be an associate member you must be a past president or a ten-year club member.
